Crisis or Conflict

"Conflict builds character. Crisis defines it", said Steven V. Thulon. This statement is very true because for one when you go through a conflict that same conflict can make or break you as a person. it can also develops your character and builds it up. Crisis defines it means that Crisis defines the person you become based upon your character you achieve through conflict.

A Conflict can come from a Crisis and a crisis can come from a conflict. For example , when you go through a crisis like being pregnant the conflict that will come from that would be whether or not you would want to keep the baby or give the baby up. It can also go the other way around arguing with a love one would be a conflict and the crisis that can come from that is the result of the love one dying.

If you are a good story teller; you differentiate between a conflict and a crisis. Having conflicts and crisis in a story engage the reader. they would want to know more about the story and what is going on. The conflict, which makes the story worth reading, involves the reader in the humanity of the characters involved in the story.

Crisis is a emergency and conflict is a clash of wills, a difficult moral choice. So for beginning authors they often focus on the existing crisis rather than the conflict that makes readers care about the characters enduring the crisis.

Sometimes when a character or person values something they are in conflict with another person about that conflict or in conflict with themselves. .

Conflict and crisis shapes a person's life
